The Francis Scott Key Elementary/ Middle School Unity Mural is part of the school’s master plan to improve the outdoors and provide more joyful spaces for students to play and grow. Generously funded by the Maryland State Arts Council’s (MSAC) Public Art Across Maryland (PAAM) New Artworks Grant, and uniquely painted on mural panels, the mural is provided students opportunities for hand-on painting and connection to improving their own playspaces. The mural was installed in May 2024.
